In 2003, Mr. Huang obtained his doctorate in meat quality control at Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU) where he still works as a professor and a tutor of doctoral students. During the period from 2003-2005, he pursued his postdoctoral study at Hokkaido University. Dr. Huang is the director of Nanjing Meat Products Processing Industry Center, president of NAU Meat Products Co., Ltd., managing director of Chinese Association of Animal Products Processing. Dr. Huang who has more than 100 research papers published and boasts one Second Award for National Scientific and Technological Progress and one of ministerial level was once in charge of more than ten national and ministerial level research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) research projects, National High Technology Research and Development Program (HTRDP 863) and Agricultural Industry Research Projects. In addition to these honors, he still possesses 12 authorized patents of invention.
