Shi Wanyu, Ph.D., professor, doctoral tutor, deputy dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine (College of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine) of Hebei Agricultural University and head of the Department of Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He is currently the vice chairman of the Asian Traditional Veterinary and Chinese Veterinary Society; the vice chairman of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, CAAV; the vice chairman of the Chinese Veterinary Medicine Branch of Chinese Veterinary Medical Association, CVMA; the supervisor of the Zhongguancun Chinese Veterinary Medicine Industry Technology Strategic Alliance; Secretary-General of the Institute of Veterinary Research in North China; President of the Chinese Veterinary Medicine Branch of the Hebei Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society. He has traveled to Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and other countries and regions for academic exchanges and business research.
     He gave lectures on the "Chinese veterinary medicine" for veterinary undergraduate students, "Chinese veterinary basic theory" and "Chinese medicine feed additive" for the Chinese veterinary undergraduate students; he also gave lectures on "Chinese veterinary theory", "Veterinary Acupuncture", "Chinese medicine immunopharmacology" and "Chinese Medicine Additives" and other courses for the postgraduate students. Mainly engaged in veterinary Chinese medicine pharmacology and the development of new products for veterinary drugs. In recent years, more than 20 scientific research achievements have been obtained, and currently there are 5 research projects, including 2 National Natural Science Foundations, 1 National Science and Technology Support Project, and 1 Public Welfare Industry (Agriculture) Research Project of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. In recent years, more than 20 papers have been published in SCI journals such as Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and more than 100 papers have been published in domestic core journals. His main works published include "Chinese Veterinary Manual (Third Edition)" (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), "Chinese-English Dictionary of Chinese Veterinary Dictionary" (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), "Chinese Veterinary Formulaology" (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), "Veterinary Clinical Diagnostics" (Deputy Editor), "Veterinary Chinese Medicine"(Deputy Editor), "Veterinary Manual" (Participation), "Chinese Veterinary Internal Medicine" (Participation), "Chinese Veterinary Medicine" (12th Five-Year Plan Textbook, Participation); etc.; he obtained 8 national invention patents, and cooperated with enterprises to develop 5 new veterinary drugs.
